Make every roll count.
Score as many points as you can with dice combinations. Fill exactly one field each turn. The row determines the score; the column determines the order.
Your turn: roll, keep, score.
- Roll all your dice. Start each turn by rolling all five or six dice.
- Keep what you need. After the first and second rolls, you may set aside any dice and roll the rest again. You may also release dice you kept earlier. You have up to three rolls, but you can stop sooner.
- Fill exactly one field. Choose an empty field allowed by its column rule and enter the score for your roll. This ends your turn. Each entry counts for just that one field on one sheet.
No matching combination?
You must still fill an available field. Cross it out for 0 points, shown as “/” on the sheet. A crossed-out field counts as filled and unlocks the next field in that column.
The columns
Each turn, you can choose between the five playing columns and your sheets. Follow the order within your chosen column. Skip the rows that are calculated automatically.
Down
Start with ones and fill one field at a time down to Jamb.
Free
Fill the rows in any order. Every empty field is available.
Up
Start with Jamb and fill one field at a time up to ones.
From the middle
Start in the middle: from maximum, work up through sixes to ones. From minimum, work down through straight to Jamb. The two directions are independent; you can switch between them.
Announcement
Commit to an empty field in this column just after your first roll, before rolling again. You may choose any row. Your choice is binding for this turn, even if you have to cross it out.
The extra Max column
The extra column on the far right is filled automatically from your best row scores. You cannot enter scores here. See “Adding it up” for how it contributes to your total.
The rows
The same scoring applies in every playing column.
Ones to sixes
Count only dice matching the number of the row: number of matches × face value. At most five matching dice count. Other dice earn no points here.
Example: three fours score 3 × 4 = 12 points. Five sixes score 5 × 6 = 30 points.
Maximum
Add five dice. Aim for the highest sum possible: at most 30.
Example: 6 + 6 + 6 + 5 + 5 = 28 points.
Minimum
Add five dice. Aim for the lowest sum possible: at least 5.
Example: 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 3 = 8 points.
Straight
One shared straight field: the small straight 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 scores 40 points; the large straight 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 scores 50 points. If six dice allow both, score 50 points. Each playing column has only one straight entry.
Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 = 40 · 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 50 points.
Full house
Three dice of one value and two of another. Add the total of these five dice and a 40-point bonus. Five identical dice do not count as a full house.
Example: 6 + 6 + 6 + 5 + 5 + 40 = 68 points.
Poker
Four matching dice. Add only these four dice and a 50-point bonus.
Example: 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 50 = 74 points.
Jamb
Five matching dice. Add their total and a 90-point bonus.
Example: 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 90 = 120 points.
Adding it up
The app calculates these three rows for every column, including the Max column.
Number total and bonus
The total of ones through sixes. Reach at least 60 points in these six rows to earn a 30-point bonus.
60 + 30 bonus = 90 points
Difference
Subtract minimum from maximum, then multiply by the points in the ones row of the same column. All three fields must be filled first. If the result is negative, the difference automatically counts as 0.
(Maximum − Minimum) × Ones
Maximum 28, minimum 8, ones 3: (28 − 8) × 3 = 60 points.
Total
Add the number total including its bonus, the difference, and the scores for the straight, full house, poker and Jamb. Maximum and minimum count only through the difference.
The extra Max column
For each row, it takes the highest entry from the five playing columns. Minimum is the exception: it takes the lowest entry, including a crossed-out 0.
Usually, the value appears once that row is filled in all five playing columns. The highest possible score appears immediately; for minimum, a 5 or a crossed-out 0 also appears immediately.
Example for sixes: 18 · 24 · 12 · 18 · 6 → Max 24
The number bonus, difference and total are calculated again from these values. The Max column adds to the scores from the five playing columns.
When does the game end?
When all 12 playing fields in each of the five playing columns are filled or crossed out on every chosen sheet. Your result is the sum of all columns, including Max, across all sheets. If you compete using separate sheets, the highest overall score wins.
Playing in the app
Single player
Before starting, choose five or six dice and one, two or three sheets. Tap “Roll”. Tap dice to keep them; they turn blue. Tap again to release them.
After a roll, tap a field with a blue outline to enter the calculated score and end your turn. A non-matching result is crossed out for 0 points. Solo entries cannot be changed.
To announce, tap your chosen field in the announce column after the first roll. Tap it again to score immediately, or keep rolling. After the third roll, the announced field is scored automatically once the dice stop moving.
Optional score hints
Faint numbers in empty fields are score hints. You can turn them off in Settings; available fields and scoring stay the same.
Manual score sheet
Roll real dice and tap an available field on the sheet. Select the number or face values of your matching dice; the app calculates points and bonuses. For an announcement, name your chosen field at the table after the first roll.
Tap an existing entry to correct or remove it. Choose “Cross out” to enter 0 points.
Multiple sheets
Use the sheet selector at the top or swipe horizontally across the sheet. All sheets belong to the same game. You still fill only one field each turn.
Your overall result appears after the final entry. In single player, your ten best games are saved on this device, separately for each dice count and number of sheets.
